Shirt--off??

I am completely in awe while writing this post. 

Today after a fantastic lunch with my Mama and Grandma, I came home to the sweetest face ever. 

His Daddy went outside to mow and Maddox asked for his shirt to be off, so I took it off for him. He played for a little while with this toy and then grabbed a book and asked me to "read it." 

During the time we read, my sweet little 18 month old started counting the characters and counted up to SIX!! How?! When did my baby grow up?!

He then studied this book before "pretending" to sleep. I can't make this stuff up. 

You guys. I'm so lucky. 😍

Muddy puddles.

Maddox's new favorite? Being outside. This kid can't get enough of our back yard. 

He LOVES this sweet outdoor high chair my mom bought (and eating peanut butter in it😜)! 

He loves playing in the sandbox! He loves dumping sand everywhere, being covered in sand, and digging holes in the sand. Sometimes he even loves eating the sand.

Finally...somehow this guy has gotten really good at finding ALL of the muddy puddles in our back yard. He's a real life Peppa Pig! 😉

Look who's back!

It's been WAY too long since my last post. I have lots of things to write about, but wanted to start off with some pictures from Maddox's first birthday party! (Jeez. Am I really six months behind?!)

This sweet boy makes me laugh so much  and takes my breath away with how smart he is. He loves to talk, read, and play! 

We had a Mickey theme with lots of fun decorations! We had a Mickey themed cake for Maddox with cupcakes for everyone else. Finally, my favorite was out "hot diggity dog bar!" 

As fellow blogger Erica Shippy has done (find her fantastic blog here at www.mydyere.com), I am hoping to finish up May on the blogging front with a posting EVERY DAY IN MAY to get caught up!
